Cl. 5. They shall give such directions to the Superintendent and establish such additional rules and regulations as they shall deem necessary to carry into effect the objects of the institution, provided such rules and regulations be not inconsistent with those established by the Board.
Cl. 6. They shall have general charge of all property within the precincts of the Hospital, and shall see that proper economy is observed in the administration of its affairs. They shall authorize such repairs and disbursements as may, from time to time, be necessary, subject to such limitations as may be prescribed by the Board.
Cl. 7. It shall be their duty to examine all bills against the Hospital and pay-rolls presented, and, if found correct, to issue an order upon the Treasurer for the payment of the same.
Cl. 8. They shall make a full and complete report of the operation of the Hospital for the year to the Board of Governors at the annual meeting.
ARTICLE XIV.—The Finance Committee.
Clause 1. The Finance Committee shall consist of three members of the Board.
Cl. 2. They shall make a careful examination of the accounts of the Treasurer and Superintendent for the fiscal year ending November 30th, and make a report of their findings to the Board at its annual meeting.
ARTICLE XV—The Training School Committee.
Clause 1. The Training School Committee shall consist of three members from the Board of Governors and two from the Consulting and Visiting Staff of the Hospital.
Cl. 2. They shall meet at the Hospital at least twice a month, and oftener, if necessary, when called together by the chairman of the committee.
Cl. 3. The Directress of Nurses shall attend all meetings of the committee and make such reports as may be required. She shall also act as secretary to the committee.
