Tennessee Medical College. Seventh Annual Session Opens Tomorrow Afternoon
The opening of the seventh annual session of the Tennessee Medical college will be held tomorrow afternoon in the auditorium of the college.
The opening address will be made by Dr. J. C. Cawood, president of the college this afternoon at 3 o’clock. The address of Dr. Cawood will be of great interest to any and all who may attend. The people of the city are cordially invited to attend. The openings are always one of the most pleasant affairs of the year and a special request is given to all interested in the college to attend the address of Dr. Cawood.
The laboratories and dissecting rooms will be opened to all visitors who wish to look through. The opening of this, the seventh annual session, promises to be the most auspicious of any in the history of the college. The atendance [sic] will equal if not surpass that of any former year and the quality of students who have already entered is far above the average.
The corps of teachers for the college cannot be surpassed by any southern college and the rapid strides of the college will soon place it in the front rank of Southern Medical institutions.
