A number of good women in Knoxville have determined that Knoxville shall have a hospital. It will require the exercise of patience and perseverance to accomplish their object, but The Journal believes they will do it. Men have failed in the erection of a hospital; but if the ladies succeed it will not be the first time that women have succeeded where men have failed.
