Resigned from the Faculty

At a meeting of the faculty of the Tennessee Medical college last night, Dr. R. M. C. Hill’s resignation was accepted.  For the present, the chair of material medica and therapeutics will be filled by Prof. Bailey, who recently accepted the chair of practice of medicine.  Dr. Bailey has proven a great acquisition to the faculty of the college.  His long experience as a teacher in the past graduate school of New York, has well qualified him for his new field of teaching.  The class at the college continues to increase by the daily arrival of new students.
