Twenty Nurses Get Diplomas at General
For 20 student nurses at General Hospital, tonight will climax three years of study and training.
They will receive their diplomas and caps in a candlelight service at 8 p.m. at Broadway Baptist Church, it was announced last night.
During the graduating exercises, Dr. Ramsey Pollard, pastor of the church, will speak, and Dr. Ralph Monger, General Hospital staff physician, will address the graduating class.

The class included Jerry Carla Maranville, Elsie Nelson, Margaret Weems, Florence Ann Doyle, Mildred Brantley, Margaret Griffith, Iris Whitt, Kathleen Simm, Ava [Alva] Jo Ash[e], Bernice Lee, Fanny Hackworth, Roma Gray, Virginia Myers, Mary Williford, Goldie Cowan, Betty Williams, Charlotte Leonard, Georgia Kern, Irene Barbe, and Catherine Taylor.
