The Big Three.  The Doings Yesterday — Matron of Hospital Resigns Her Position

The board of public works met in regular session yesterday morning, all members of the board being present, besides a number of visitors.

The resignation of Mrs. I. V. Pollard, matron of the city hospital, was presented and accepted by unanimous vote, and on motion of Col. Terry, the board went into an election for her successor.  Miss Patty B. Mosely was named for matron and was elected by a unanimous vote, to holder position subject to the pleasure of the board.
