Fay Chatfield Taylor, age 94, of Maryville, passed away Saturday, Nov. 3, 2018, at Concordia Care, Fairpark. She was a member of First United Methodist Church of Maryville and was a retired RN from Blount Memorial Hospital. Preceded in death by her husband, W. Harold Taylor; parents, Tom and Minnie Chatfield; grandson, Kevan Sherrod; sisters, Mildred Chatfield, Loraine Burst, Sue Myers, and Martha Revenna; brother, Fred Chatfield. Survivors include her daughters and sons-in-law, Beverly and David Sherrod, Nan and Wally Werner, Mandy and Dale Schneitman; grandchildren, Eric Rogers (Jeana), Whitney Turner (Jackson), Kelley Wombold (Andy), Emilie Housley (Darren), Casey Schneitman, and Alyssa Werner; great grandchildren, Spencer Lambert, Scarlett Rogers, Ellie Housley, Warren Wombold, Louis and Mary Turner. The family will receive friends 12:00 p.m. to 1:30 p.m., Thursday, Nov. 8, 2018, at First United Methodist Church of Maryville and funeral services will follow at 1:30 p.m., with Rev. Catherine Nance officiating. The interment will follow in Grandview Cemetery. Special thanks to staff of Concordia Fairpark and Caris.
