Alva Jo Ashe Creech, Class of 1946
Memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday at Rawls Springs Baptist Church for Mrs. Jo Creech, 89, of Hattiesburg, formerly of Richmond, KY.
She died Monday, February 16, 2015, at Windham House [Hattiesburg, Mississippi].
Interment will be at Old Manse Cemetery in Paint Lick, KY.
Mrs. Creech was a retired Registered Nurse and a member of Rawls Springs Baptist Church. She was a longtime resident of Paint Lick, KY, where she was active in Kentucky Homemakers and Eastern Kentucky University activities. She was also a former longtime member of First Baptist Church of Richmond, KY.
She is survived by her husband, Jack E. Creech of Hattiesburg, MS; one sister, Dr. Jeanie Gail Bowman and brother-in-law, Dr. Jeff Bowman of Hattiesburg, MS; one niece, Dr. Carol L. Creech (Paul Kendall) of Ft. Worth, TX; two nephews, Jeff Corbett Bowman (Christa) of Hattiesburg, MS and Jonathan Bowman (Claire) of Fairhope, AL.
Memorials may be made to the building funds of Rawls Springs Baptist Church or The First Baptist Church of Richmond, KY.
Visitation will begin at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday at Rawls Springs Baptist Church.
