Wallace Memorial Baptist Church in Knoxville is named for Dr. Bill Wallace, MD, a Southern Baptist Missionary whose life tragically ended in the mission field in China.

On Saturday, March 9, 2013, Wallace Memorial will host a tour — limited to 40 people — of sites in Knoxville related to Dr. Wallace.  The tour includes sites important to Knoxville General Hospital’s history, including Serene Manor Nursing Home (all that remains of KGH), Broadway Baptist Church (where nurses graduated)

The cost is $10.00 per person.  Registrations are necessary.  Transportation by air-conditioned bus leaving the church at 9:00 a.m.
